09 - Subdivision and Smoothing in Modelling

 To start this tutorial I made the UV sphere mesh. I opened the tools menu and changed the amount of segments to twelve and the amount of rings to 6. then I added a subdivision modifier to the sphere.
 I then went back into the tools menu and put smooth shading on to make the sphere look a lot smoother. I then tabed into edit mode selected all by pressing “A” then I pressed “W” to open the specials menu and chose smooth. This option to smooth an object try’s to smooth and flatten any points sticking out of your object without adding geometry like subdivision does.
This is my smoothened sphere using the least geometry as possible.
